Review of Deception (1946) by Karen G — 06 Aug 2008
"Now Voyager." Fast forward 4 years to 1946. David, Raines ande Henri join again in what could be a melodrama. NOT! Starts slow and rather mushy. But in comes Raines and he captures the spotlight.
A 180 degree turn around from the good doctor in "NV." Henri came out better the first time around and looked better. His blond, curly locks in this movie don't suit him. Bette is starting to show her age, but no less her ability to take center stage .
This moview is an up and down, roller coaster with a real twist of an ending. Enjoy!
