Review of Deathwatch (2002) by Gimly M — 30 Jan 2017
The execution and screenplay is a little choppy, but it's compensated by great actors, a very gloomy, gritty and terrifying war atmosphere, and has a real camp feel to it. Reminds me a lot of the Italian low budget exploitation horror movies that were made during the 70's and 80's.
And the passion of the actors to act in the middle of the rain and mud is pretty honorable. Overall, it's not a groundbreaking flick, but it deserves a bit of recognition.
