Review of Deathtrap (1982) by Abvll1248 — 09 May 2018
Wickedly humorous due to its self referential nature. But there are points where the seasoned viewer tends to feel that there is a desperate attempt to mislead you like the cult guilty pleasure Wild Things ,although there is something in the script which justifies the constant plot churning.
Movie definitely shines in parts especially in terms of wit .But towards the end , just when the twist game seems to go out of hands the ending manages to resolve loose ends provided you are amenable to suspension of disbelief as the script writer character within the story himself says at one point.
Dont want to say that this a movie which deserves a second watch UNLESS there is an aspring writer in you.If so , there is every chance that you might devour this script.
