Three and a half stars. OK - DEATH WISH 1 is a CLASSIC, a gritty 70's no nonsense piece of vigilante HELL. Death Wish 2......well.......I F**king love it don't get me wrong. But DW1 is an actual seriously good movie. DW2.
Is no brain trash. Comparing DW1 to DW2 is like a steak and eggs dinner vs a big mac. You can't compete with steak and eggs. but a big mac is still VERY tasty!! Even though you will be on the toilet minutes later after said B.M. But while you sit there grunting, you will be tee hee hee ing with a big smile!! Ok this review has really bottomed out. In a nutshell - DW2 is REQUIRED VIEWING for fans of BRONSON, early 80's action, vigilante trash, or JIMMY PAGE. RUN don't walk, to your nearest WalMart and grab it in the bargin bin. Its there, trust me - that where I got mine. While you are at it - grab Death Wish 3. Watch both while drinking heavily. This is a FEEL GOOD movie - DON'T miss out!!
