I am a fan of the Bronson Death Wish movies of the 70s and 80s and was a little skeptical of this new Roth / Willis remake, but I must say IT WAS AWESOME! Both Eli Roth and Bruce Willis bring a powerful, captivating and bold new vision to the Death Wish storyline and I found myself really swept up in this narrative .

.. even though I remain a Bronson diehard and never thought I enjoy this movie. See this film and decide for your self. DISREGARD the haters in the form of politically corrent reviewers who talk about "bad timing.

" What bad timing? There is a BIG difference. Our headlines today are about nuts shooting innocent people. The protagonist is a victim who only shoots killers who in a normal, decent society would be arrested and executed anyway.

HUGE DIFFERENCE! Hollywood can't have it both ways. They have a decades-long history of shoot-em-up movies about good people with guns killing bad people with guns. This movie is no different ... regardless of what the PC Police of Buzzfeed, Huffpo, or the gun-hating mainstream mass media say.

Again, watch and decide for yourself. I give it FIVE STARS!!!!
