Bruce Willis in an Eli Roth movie with Vincent D'Onofrio, Elisabeth Shue and Dean Norris (Hank Schrader from Breaking Bad) in a re-imagining of the Charles Bronson movie from my childhood? Sounded like a good idea. Turns out it WAS a good idea.
Saw the originals with my dad, brought him to see this remake and we both enjoyed it. I like the signature Eli Roth gore and seeing a realistic handling of firearms worked into the story. I like Bruce Willis' deadpan. I look forward to the sequel.
