Don't listen to the critics, the movie was pretty good and entertaining. The critics are being political instead of rating the movie itself. Saw anther comment that pretty much sums it up.

Steven L - The critics rating just goes to show how out of touch critics are with what real people want to see. I'll admit that I don't watch every movie that comes out, not even close, I watch maybe 1 or 2 movies a month. Go to the theater and watch a movie once or twice a year. I loved this movie. I liked it just as much, if not more, than the original. And reading some of the critics reviews I realize how much this country is turning into a bunch of whiny ninnies. They miss the point of the movie. One critic said that "the movie suggests that societies most troubling problen can be solved by the blazing barrel of a vigilante's gun." That is a flat out incorrect statement. The movie isnt about that. Stop politicizing everything. The movie is about losing the one you love and fealing helpless, then realizing you can do something. This is what you would dream of doing in that situation. Not what you would actually do. It does not suggest that you should do it too. It shows a copycat viglante getting killed when trying to be a vigilante which is what would happen to most who try. The movie plays into our empathy, feeling of helplessness, our desire to bring justice, our desire for revenge, our need for closure, a hope for a better future, it gets your heart pumping and your adrenaline flowing. It's entertainment. Pure and simple, action packed entertainment. If you're not a hyper sensitive, special snowflake, scared of guns, low testosterone, beta. Go see the movie if you feel like it. Shoot, even if you are one of those go see it if you feel the inclination.
