Coming across as a typical, generic, by-the-numbers action revenge story movie we've seen multiple times and were done better, Death Wish failed at breaking the streak of not-so-good action remakes with an all-over-the-place tone, wooden performances, and the violence that was so ridiculous & over-the-top to the point where the movie got legitimately entertaining to watch.
