Completely written off because of the politcal views by movie critic hacks. Honestly, it's around a 6 to 7. A standard revenge movie plot closely following the original film, but Willis delivers as he usually does in action flicks.

Just here to give the movie a ten though. User ratings are king in this day and age. I remember a similar movie coming out a few years ago called "Death Sentence" starring Kevin Bacon. Basically the exact same movie based in Detriot(yet another crime ridden craphole), but where was the outrage? Please, this movie will be forgotten about in a month as whiny PC snowflakes move on to their next useless pet outrage issue.

Let this movie stand alone from the politics and you'll see it's a very standard yet enjoyable revenge tale. It's been done a million times without issue before and if people are concerned about violence in Chicago, well, I've lived here all my life and this movie has absolutely nothing to do with what's going on.

It's a decent movie starring the legendary Bruce Willis, but I wouldn't say a must see and you can probably wait till it's for rent or on cable honestly. If you are concerned about this movie's violence, well then you should be concerned with just about every movie coming out of Hollywood these days.

It's nothing more or less than what we've seen recently.
