Review of Death Wish (2018) by Jamie B — 04 Jun 2018
A well constructed film of a more classical kind of story telling mostly absent today, which makes it fresh compared to those now played out modern clichés and preachy storylines. Well acted, well put together, and while entertaining it does pose some moral questions in the process and speaks to honest human experience.
Not usually a fan of eli roth, but he has his moments, and this is one of them. It's not an action riddled story, it's more artful and well paced, but it's not dull either. Ignore the critics, they thought the last jedi and black panther were good, lol.
