Review of Death Wish (1974) by Gord T — 16 Sep 2007
An amazing and inspiring film about a man suffering an injustice and taking out his anger and frustration on the street scum of the city. paul kersey has little trouble finding bad guys around new york to kill.
after his daughter and wife being raped and beaten, bronson finds a bright light in the south as he is told of the safety in the gun happy state of arizona. great violence, superb story telling and a great dark feel as kersey slips over the line and takes justice into his own hands.
some very convincing deaths and unique scenes and shots make this a wonderful film for everyone to see. loss of one star for not having enough of the tough guy shit. long live charles bronson!
