Review of Death Wish (1974) by Ryan H — 14 Feb 2008
A good movie overall. Bronson's seeming apathy towards the criminal underworld seems to lend credence to his prominence as the vigilante. Failing to actively seek out his family's assailants is a fresh departure from cliche "go and get the bad guys" scripture on revenge movies.
Mindless, indiscriminate killings - that's what I like.
