Review of Death Wish (1974) by Joe D — 26 Apr 2008
A simple masterpiece. The criticism within the move upon pacifying individuals for the purpose of a more "civilized" society is powerful. Here is great example:
Paul: What do you call people who, when theyâ??re faced with a condition of fear, do nothing about it â??they just run and hide?
Jack: Civilised?
Paul Kersey: NO.
For me its the dialog rather then great acting and action which makes this a great move.
