Review of Death Wish (1974) by Gilbert L — 21 Sep 2009
Death Wish is a good film for its time, and even can be found as somewhat responsible for the plot of The Brave One. Charles Bronson is pretty kick ass in this film, and honestly, I wouldn't fuck with him.
It's a violent movie, so if you think it's going to be easy going, then you're an idiot. Seriously, the title is Death Wish, and its got Charles Bronson, do you need any more warning lights to tell you it isn't a Sunday afternoon walk in the colonial park!? Anyway, I only have to say one other thing about this movie, the ending is very abrupt, but it's the only complaint I have really, the rest of the film is very good, with great scenery and shots, superb acting and gripping action.
I wish you to see this movie (ok, I'll hurt myself for that one). Enjoy!
