Review of Death Trance (2005) by Dirk G — 14 May 2008
Bloody loved this movie. Very heavy on fight scenes, but they are so fresh and dynamic. Long cuts and big moving arenas for each fight. Cool aesthetic; goth/metal/post-appocalyptic with bazookas motorbikes traditional martial arts weapons and wierd-space-alien-looking barbecued meat morsels.
Disturbing sword of power that throbs like an engorged phallus. Plenty of laughs. Kick-arse cinematography and directing of photography. Soundtrack is mostly metal and suits really well.
