Review of Death Ship (1980) by Mathias01 — 06 Jul 2019
I remember seeing this at a drive in. I miss those. Anyways the movie itself was actually interesting. The ship itself was very creepy and quite atmospheric. George Kennedy was good as the Captain of the cruise ship. Richard Crenna was also good in his role. About the only gripe I have with the movie is the death scene of Victoria Burgoyne. She gets in the shower and starts freaking out when the water turns to blood. And... she dies. From what? Nothing ever touched her. One of the lamest death scenes I've seen.
Aside from that it's a good movie overall. I wonder why those so called critics gave it such a negative score.
