Revenge movies like this only work if the bad guys are badass. Here, they're just corny thugs w/ fugazi tattoos & horrible aim. Throw in John Goodman as an 'intimidating' guns dealer & a bulletproof Kevin Bacon and you have the recipe for a disaster.
