Review of Death Sentence (2007) by Greg C — 01 Feb 2010
Doesn't have the giddy escapism of a lot of these "kill 'em all" revenge movies, and at first it is better for it. There's a heavy toll for vengeance and that's what this movie is about.
It wavers a bit near the end when it seems to be trying for some of that playful escapist violence, but ends on a satisfactory note.
