I really enjoyed this movie. I think the whole gritty and raw look that Wan chose was perfect and he did a good job at this. Something other then horror for him.
Bacon did a good job transforming through the movie and the one that really surprised me was John Goodmans role. Not something I would of thought for him but I think he pulled it off.
The other thing I liked is it showed both sides to the story. Not just the fathers side that lot the kid but what happens with the gang side and the events and effect that took everything to an ending.
