Review of Death Rides a Horse (1967) by Grey H — 24 Aug 2008
Good flick. A classic, and obviously an inspiration to one of my all time favorites, Kill Bill.
Van Cleef is pretty much the boss--as always--and we even get a solid preformance out of his oddly deep-voiced side-kick, Douchey McYoungsterson.
The only thing the movie lacks is a hook. It's got a decent twist, but its never really acted upon almost to the point where its ignored.
It's a good Spaghetti, and I'd watch it again, but I might pick For a Few Dollars More over this when browsing for a late night treat.
