Review of Death Race 2000 (1975) by Erik O — 21 Mar 2008
Maybe I was just in the right mood when I watched it, but, for whatever reasons, I really enjoyed this movie. The "happy ending" is pretty disappointing, and doesn't really fit with the "death/destruction/kill 'em all" mentality that runs rampant throughout, but the comedy involved in the final act makes it forgivable.
If you like Cult Flicks, you'll love this film.
