Review of Death Race 2000 (1975) by Dann M — 13 Jun 2013
Sc-fi gold and low budget cheese from Paul Bartel staring David Carradine and a young Stallone. In order to satisfy America's lust from cars, violence and major sporting events, the President endorses a new national sport similar to Grand Theft Auto which sees those competing mow down pedestrians for points as they race across the country.
One does ponder why Simone Griffeth never became a bigger star after this as she is one of the hottest sex kittens of the seventies.
