Review of Death Proof (2007) by Brontë Y — 21 Mar 2013
Its been a few years since I watched this, but I think I liked it more now then before. First off, dream car chase. What is more awesome then a 1970 Challenger vs a 1969 Charger? The reason I own a Charger is because of the 1969 Charger.
Second, there are a lot of connections in this film to everything else Tarantino did before or since from the circle around the table Reservoir Dogs shot to the Kill Bill whistle ring tone to the Barserds.
Third, next to Tombstone, Kurt Russel is never that good. Mary Elizabeth Winstead in a cheerleading outfit. Finally, Zoe Bell should be Wonder Woman. Anyway, all and all, everyone should watch this film.
