Review of Death on the Nile (1978) by Siân P — 31 Dec 2007
Terrific film. A better cast could not be assembled. Set design is perfect, location shots on the Nile and throughout puts YOU in the movie. Oscar winner for Costume Design and could have easily given Angela Lansbury an Oscar for her performance as Mrs.
Otterbourne. Rest of the cast is excellent and, when you consider that Lois Chiles was a model, her performance, while not on par with Oscar winners like Peter Ustinov, Bette Davis, Maggie Smith, George Kennedy, and David Niven, she does pretty good.
