Review of Death on the Nile (1978) by Matthew B — 30 May 2008
Great whodunit featuring a once in a lifetime cast. Peter Ustinov makes a better Poirot than Albert Finney imo. The locations are beautiful and Jack Cardiff's cinematography can't be beat. Angela Lansbury easily steals every scene she's in as the tipsy sex obsessed romance novelist.
Simon MacCorkindale couldn't be any more beautiful as one of suspects. Great ending. Highly recommended.
