Review of Death on the Nile (1978) by David L — 17 Mar 2012

A superb sequel which has too often been overshadowed by the previous success of murder on the Orient Express. Both excellent tales in the own right, and both equally original with their conclusions, yet this novel literally providing that killer edge like no other.

Whilst boasting many of todays film and tv stars, I simply can't think of a greater detective novel that has since outdone this classic which is now over 30 years old - and that's coming from a big fan of midsomer murders!
