It seems most fans of the source material felt this movie was very rushed, which I understand. I can totally see how hard it would be to fit years of content into an hour and forty minutes. Even though I have never seen the Japanese Death Note series, my one drawback with this movie was everything did feel rushed.
Great performance by Willem Dafoe as Ryuk.
