I am a huge fan of death note and this movie destroyed the essence of everything death note represents. The structure of the story line was rushed. Many of the most memorable scenes were left out. In the anime "L" is known to be a logical thinker and have no emotional ties yet in this movie he is an emotional train wreck.

"Light".... he was even worse intellectually, and running around like a pussy. I am disappointed.... this cat and mouse game did not live up to expectations. Save your brain cells from drowning in this stupidity.
