This adaption was extremely enjoyable. People spent a lot of there time comparing this to the anime, which is a mistake. This is its own story and its own telling. It was enjoyable all the way through it.
If you are a fan of the anime, then you should watch it and give it a chance by not comparing it to the original anime.
