It began a little slow but then built a steady pace. It did try to squeeze a lot in a short amount time but it wasn't too much to handle. I did try watching the cartoon before had to get a grasp of what the theme/story is about.
The movie is different but it wasn't at all bad for me. Too many people critic over not being the cartoon; then watch the cartoon. The movie was good for a broader audience not wanting to follow a longer narrative.
