The Movie has some problem yes. But It not a train wreck. The first act is slow and very dull but it picks up fast. The movie pay tribute to the anime. But it not like the anime and it say it as well in the movie as well.
So in short terms if you like glory violence and turn off all of your logic in your brain. You well enjoy it a lot BUT if you are a big fan of the anime You probably wont like the movie. Base on how much the caterer Chang.
