Review of Death Note (2017) by Wil S — 01 Sep 2017
It wouldn't be surprising to find the writers of this adaption in the death notes of the fans of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's creation. They managed to take out every iconic scene from the original work and change Light from a genius with a god complex, to an edgy teenager who used the death note to get back at his bullies.
I've never seen such blatant disrespect for the work that one is adapting and I hope Netflix doesn't let it happen again.
