Review of Death in Venice (1971) by Kim A — 12 Mar 2008
Really creepy. Based off the novella, and it's not that great of a movie. Poor choice of zooms. Every shot possible, Visconti added a zoom. I hate zooms... It's a well designed film though, a bit confusing in the editing once in a while, but otherwise good.
Good choice of music too. Wagner was a good choice for the death aspect of the film. It was utterly boring, and waaay tooooo looooong!!!
