Review of Death in Granada (1996) by Lee M — 15 Jul 2015
Well-intentioned and sincere in its adoration of Lorca, but this film's script is not very tightly woven and Andy Garcia as Lorca was a rather poor choice--he just doesn't come across as a poetic soul.
Nice twist ending, though. With all its faults, still worth a watch. It does show the anti-intectualism of totalitarian governments.
