Bone dry British humour with some decent black comic gags. Some characters should have been excised completely, like the old man with the bowel problems and the fellow who's supposed to be "tripping on acid".
One minute he's an ordinary bloke, next thing you know he's acting like a mental patient ODing on Ecstasy, prancing naked on the roof. Has anyone ever done this, ever, in the history of time? Then there's the gay midget subplot and several other farcical things without the slightest bearing in reality.
