Review of Death at a Funeral (2007) by Calvin C — 24 Apr 2010
A funny British romp that is made funnier by the fact that the family is a proper English family living in the country. The things that happen within these few hours are outragous and over-the-top, but the cast of mostly classical actors keep it from going into stupid slapstick. Something about funny things happening to serious English people that makes it me laugh really hard.
Grade: A-.
