Review of Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father (2008) by Sanford R — 24 Jan 2009
Touching and infuriating documentary about the murder of a doctor in western Pennsylvania. The filmmaker, Kurt Kuenne, dedicated years of his life to interview everyone the doctor, Andrew Bagby, knew. Kuenne is wise to give the majority of screen-time to Bagby's parents as they provide a structure for the story.
I wasn't a fan of the editing style, but overall, a well made film.
