Engrossing and devastating documentary that starts off as one project but ends up as something quite different. Originally starting as a video memory for the son of a murdered man, the film develops into an examination of the legal process in Newfoundland and its obvious shortcomings. It's a hard watch, I warn you...but pretty much required viewing in my book.

It's a bit crudely made but is so authentic in its pain, love, and sincerity. Get it from Netflix or stream it online, grab a box of Kleenex, and sit back.
