The story of what happened to this family is horrifying, and the viewer spends most of the movie confronting this horror. But at the same time, it is one of the best celebrations of life ever recorded.

At the end of the story, when the horror gets unimaginably worse, it seems impossible to end the movie with anything but anger and hatred. But then you realize you have been watching a majestic expression of love for 90 minutes, and you hopefully come to realize the magnificent act carried out by Andrew Bagby's parents: they nearly chose to take their lives after his death. And instead, the gave their lives completely and utterly to his memory, to their grandson, and to a cause.

Screw Canada, screw crazy people, see this movie.
