Review of Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father (2008) by Roni A — 06 Oct 2013
To take a story about a generally unknown man and document it in such a way that I was held for 90 minutes (not an easy feat with my attention span) is remarkable alone, in my world. But, what is epecilly wonderful is that this man's story was told, and the story of his senseless death, and the story of his child, and his heartbroken parents' diligence and vigilant move to gain custody from the chid's murderous mother and change the law in Canada (which, I found they succeeded in doing in 2012).
