I never cry at movies. It's just hard for me to have that nerve struck to where I burst into tears. 'Dear Zachary' has struck that nerve. There was a certain moment in this film where I got up out of my seat, got onto my knees, put my head into my lap and just cried for a good 10 minutes.

I had to pause the movie and catch my breath... I went in, hugged my dog, cried some more, and then came back to the film. From start to finish, this is a shattering and ultimately upsetting film that will leave you totally speechless.

It's well put together, leaving you wondering where it's going... and then destroying all your hopes that it will lead in the direction you were hoping. You'll need your tissues ready for this movie, because it's a heart-wrenching story that is cruel and un-forgiving.
