Review of Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father (2008) by Tait W — 07 Oct 2013
I haven't seen very documentary films that have really had a major effect on me... so I can honestly say that this my favorite documentary because not only was it really good but it had me bawling throughout the entire thing.
The murder of Andrew and Zachary Bagby was a horrible and heartbreaking story. This film really serves as a fantastic tribute to their memory, but is a VERY emotional experience that will you in tears for most of the entire movie.
From start to finish it tells an unsettling emotional and depressing story accompanied with interviews from friends and family and home video footage which leaves you feeling even more upset. You really feel the emotion and love that the friends and family have for these two people.
That's something that you'll never forget.
