Well made film with a good cast and soundtrack. Yet it is also heavy handed and from what I could see ultimately about the inability of "white people" to get "black people" (with the reverse not being explored).
It is a theme I cannot get behind; it feels defeatist. So it is like Do the Right Thing, only much better made on all levels. A missed opportunity but not without some merit.
