Review of Dear White People (2014) by Zachary M — 11 Apr 2016
What makes the world complicated is that issues we face are almost never black or white. Be it race, gender, sexuality, or any number of hot button issues, one unified solution is never really the answer. It will inevitably exclude one or more people or group of people.
Dear White People shows the issues of several young college students struggling to make their way through school and life. What one person experiences is vastly different yet, no less important than someone else's. It asks questions, tries to offer answers, though not completely telling you what they are or which is best, and most importantly it shows that our world is more colored grey than black or white.
