I originally had no desire to see this, WHATSOEVER..but my little niece kept talking about it & how sweet it was, soo..i was like, what the heck? I might as well check it out. I actually really dislike romantic movies & I have never read a Nicholas Sparks book in my life (& never plan to either).
I'm just not into all that mushy, make you cry type of crap. I actually expected this movie to be just a little bit better than it actually was. The acting is really bad..well, I really don't like Channing Tatum or Amanda Seyfried.
.AT ALL. So, that could have had an affect on the film for me. I did notice that it's kinda jumpy & just moves from scene to scene & doesn't really explain everything properly. I guess they expected that anyone that would actually watch this crap had already read the book.
The ending was a little odd as well. It was just kinda like..BANG! & it was over. Whatever. I heard the book had a totally different ending that was a lot better. Overall, I suppose it's a decent romantic film & worth the watch if you're really into this kind of lovey dovey stuff.
