Review of Dear John (2010) by Adrienne L — 30 Mar 2011
I really enjoyed this drama based on a book by Nicholas Sparks. Its the fifth of six adaptations of one of his novels. After 'The Notebook' this sits next to the top (which is funny since I had no plans to watch it originally).
The fresh performances by relative newcomers Amanda Seyfried and Channing Tatum make the love story enjoyable to watch. And Richard Jenkins has created another memorable supporting character playing Tatum's autistic father. Tatum's best role to date.
