Oh dear, dear, dear John. Why? If it wasn't for the attractive cast and hilariously unrealistic approach to War, 9/11 and the postal service - this would be an irredeemable stinker. Tatum's square jaw and rippling pectorals, though charming, actually fail to raise the old pulse when laden under such dreary, typically contrived, Nicholas Spark's dialogue.
Terribly dull and stupid.
