Someone gave me the book...I read it and wasn't all that impressed. The movie was worse. I actually liked the ending of the book because it wasn't a complete clichà (C), but the movie version decides to rewrite itself and miss some of the most important plot parts of the book, which wasn't very strong anyway.
The lead performances were vacant and stoic. The end result? Just Sparks making more money off substandard romances that women addicted to this romance crap like heroin will continue to get their fix from.
Nothing noteworthy or of value here.
