Quietly powerful and emotionally compelling, this story makes you feel as if you really ARE one of the main characters. In fact, I could identify with a piece of all of them. Lizzie, because she loves her son more than anything in the world and treats him, although deaf, as an extension of herself - vulnerable yet aboslutely certain of the power of hope.

The Stanger, because of his tenderness and quiet fortitude; his safeness and compassion that Frankie feels whenever he is around this Stranger. And dear Frankie, who sees and hears more truths about himself and the world than even Spidey-sense could ever feel, and going through life like a gentle soul searching in the tiniest places for warmth, knowledge and love.

Buy this movie at all possible; it just might warm your heart and make it beat a little faster.
