An incredibly emotional, important, and powerful movie musical. The songs are some of the best ever written, and Ben Platt's performance is breathtaking. The entire cast is world-class and the ability to see their emotion up close had my entire family in tears.
The movie also manages to keep things light sometimes with a great balance.
